RTU500 Series
The Hitachi Energy RTU500 range has a variety of features, such as a web server, a simulation mode to speed up commissioning, and centralized user management.
It is compatible with most existing industrial protocols and also offers optional PLC programming and HMI screen creation for site operation.
RTU560
The RTU560 relay has been focused on transmission systems for over 40 years. These are remote units in rack format which facilitate assembly and modularity while offering a high number of hardware combinations to suit the requirements of each installation.
With up to 16 CPUs, it allows for redundant power supply and configurations, which enable the management of a large amount of data and offers a high level of availability and redundancy.
The wide variety of I/O cards offers a solution for any type of data acquisition by wiring interface: digital inputs, pulse counters, analog mV and mA inputs, Pt100 probes, etc.

RTU540
The RTU540 line is mainly defined as a protocol converter. Its application is focused on substations where different communication protocols coexist and its integration into a control centre is required using current protocols based, for example, on Ethernet.
The compatibility with older protocols is remarkable. Its robust and compact design for DIN-rail mounting, as well as its efficient power consumption, allows its use in control cabinets with reduced space and limited power sources, such as solar energy.
Additionally, it also supports the connection of I/O modules of the RTU520 series, for the acquisition of wired signals.
RTU520
Its modular and compact design offers an optimal solution for the control of small distribution systems and without saving on functionality, as it has the same features as the higher ranges.
A wide variety of I/O modules are available. Its great scalability allows it to adapt to future extensions of the installations.
