Substation Control and Protection Systems Technician
Job Description:
The main tasks of the job position will be the configuration and testing of SCADA systems for the control and protection of electrical substations.
Requirements:
Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or
- Superior Degree in Electronic and Automated Systems
Specifically:
- Configuration of control equipment, RTUs, and protection relays.
- SCADA data engineering
- System validation testing
- Commissioning works for new installations, as well as refurbishment of existing installations.
- Technical assistance to customers
Outline:
- Office located in Madrid
- Salary to be agreed upon based on the candidate's demonstrable experience.
- Experience is not essential, however
- Previous experience in the MicroSCADA system of Hitachi Power Grids as well as in the configuration of protections of ABB series 615, 620, or similar equipment from other manufacturers will be an asset.
- B1 driving license.

Control and Protection Systems Technician
Job description:
The main tasks of the job will be the configuration, assembly, testing, and commissioning of electrical control systems for substations, transformer stations, and all types of Medium Voltage installations.
Requirements:
Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or
- Superior Degree in Electronic and Automation Systems.
Specifically:
- Creating electrical diagrams
- Wiring and Assembly
- PLC, SCADA, and Remote Programming
- Performing system validation tests
- Commissioning with occasional night-time work
- Technical assistance to the customer
Outline:
- Office located in Barcelona.
- No experience is required, however:
- Experience in PLC programming and SCADA systems especially ABB and Hitachi-Energy equipment will be an asset.
- Knowledge of medium voltage electrical networks and protection relays will be an asset.
