Margonin 110/33 kV Substation, Poland (2012)

Provision, engineering and commissioning of

the expansion of the LON REF54x and MicroSCADA protection and control system for the Margonin 110 / 33 kV substation in Poland. The project involved the supply of all control and protection devices pertaining to the enlargement.

Maintenance of European Wind Farm Substations (2013-15)

Contract: Engineering, maintenance and new control system projects

The effective commissioning of the above projects inevitably led to GEDLux becoming contracted by EDP renewables as the official substation maintenance company for its substation systems on its 38 wind farm substations in Spain, 5 in Poland and 9 in Romania. Involves installation, programming, and implementing modifications to the existing control systems of said substations. All modifications are performed online and without the need to shut down systems. Tasks include: programming control & protection units; programming RTUs, SCADA engineering, setting up databases connected to control centres, etc.
